Put some spices in there, heat up the pot and let the rubber soak for about an hour or two. This will get rid of the rubber taste. To get rid of the copper pieces you need to run about 3 cups of white vinegar through your still. After doing that run about 5 cups of water through your still. This will flush it all out.
